Another Big Life Update
So here it is, last I mentioned about my career I had decided to leave work due to the unhappiness and stress the environment was causing me. While I mostly left with little to no plans, there was one thing I kept from the story. During that time I took a long look at how my life was, would be and what I wanted from life. Often while we are in University there is so much confusion and on top of the assignments, coursework, and exams we are also expected to figure out how the rest of our life should look in a four-year span. Well for me, I was good at economics and finance, so it just seemed like a natural fit for my life and what I should do. But often just because we are good at something does not mean it is what we are destined or meant to do.

I have been struggling for quite some time (since moving really) on nailing down where home is for me. It has been a weird transition in my life because upon moving out this time it became very clear that it was more permanent than the times before. I was not off to school and returning back. It was me moving forward with my life and away from the childhood home, where I grew up and the place where I largely became who I am today. Today & Every Day
Happy Earth Day! Every year I let this day be a great reminder to myself of why I need to get out of my winter shell, go outside and once again get in touch with the Earth. And not to sound too much like my Mom, it is an amazing opportunity to take time to celebrate all the things we are blessed with just by being on this planet. It is a day to reconnect with this beautiful rock, commit to simple changes with big impacts and remind ourselves why it is so important to protect it, not just on this day but every day.

I have thought about writing this blog post countless times over the past few months and I am glad to say I finally can. I QUIT MY JOB! After months of going back and forth, weighing the pro’s and cons and debating whether or not it was the right choice, I bit the bullet and just did it.
